Are No Win No Fee solicitors available for Scottish claims?

Due to historical reasons, the legal system in Scotland differs from that of England and Wales. In England, "No Win No Fee" usually means that you get to keep 100% of the compensation awarded. If your claim is unsuccessful, you would not have to pay any of the solicitor's costs. However, if you succeed, on settlement of your claim the solicitor would receive payment from the third party insurance company as well as a portion taken out of your compensation.
